Vietnam’s industrialisation and modernisation process has brought a new facelift to the country’s modern infrastructure and urban traffic system. Besides other modern large scale building works, it is crucial for the economy to develop electric power supply. With this requirement in mind, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry has partnered with Hong Kong Exhibition Services Ltd to organise the annual industry tradeshow.
Taking place at Vietnam’s thriving city, Ho Chi Minh City, Industrial Automation is the newly launched tradeshow at the Ho Chi Minh City International Exhibition & Convention Centre (HIECC). Encompassing four shows at the same venue, it saw the return of Elenex Vietnam, Building M&E Vietnam and Securitex & Fire Vietnam as well.
According to Daniel Cheung, General Manager of Hong Kong Exhibition Services Ltd, the newly launched Industrial Automation provided an effective sourcing platform for local and regional industry stakeholders in search for the best infrastructural, energy and building technologies as well as automation and mechatronic solutions. It also gave industry professionals a chance to network and exchange industry updates.
180 exhibitors from 21 countries including China, Germany, Korea, Singapore and United Kingdom were gathered at HIECC to showcase their capabilities and potential. A three-day seminar was also held concurrently to allow introduce the latest applications and technologies by industry experts.
Both local and international exhibitors were kept busy over the three days canvassing potential business leads. The BuySingapore booth over at the Singapore pavilion was no exception. Gathering international trade leads from both visitors and exhibitors, BuySingapore made full use of the three days to mingle with the crowd at HIECC. This is its third foray into Vietnam this year. |
